1. Discuss what you thought about creating your logo.
I really enjoyed creating the logo.  At first I had a hard time thinking of a logo that represented myself.  I had spent more time thinking than actually creating.  I liked that I had free range to make whatever I wanted and had a lot of room for creativity.
2. Describe the process: creative thinking skills and ideas you used in the logo creation.
The process consisted of first thinking of objects that represented myself.  I sketched several items that I felt that were important.  After that I had to pick the items that I thought was the most important.  Having selected a few objects I needed to decide how to merge them together to create a design.  I played around with it for a little bit but than came up with my final design.  After that, I had to decide which medium to use, which I decided on markers because the colors are more vibrant.
3. What was the most important discovery you made in the creation of your logo?
The most important discovery I had made is that a logo can be picked apart to mean several different things.  The way I drew my lines, the colors I have chosen, the images I have chosen, etc. all mean something different to me.  As they all come together, they make a whole and represent something bigger, which is myself.  I drew a flower because I love exotic looking flowers I think they are beyond beautiful.  I love bright vibrant pinks so I used that as the petals and than made it look like a zebra as I love zebra print.  The inside is a chinese symbol which means luck.  I feel that over the course of the last few years I have been lucky and blessed with the opportunities and people I have met.  I also used a chinese symbol over anything else because I work in a chinese restaurant, P.F. Changs, and absolutely love it there.  This is where I have met many great people and have learned so much in connection to my business career.  Creating a logo is so important in how it gets the message across and how it becomes recognizable.  There are so many logos around the world for business' and they have to be structured carefully as these logos are linked to their success.
4. What is the most important information you learned from watching the videos, powerpoint, and reading material  for this project? What is your opinion of the videos?
The most important information that I learned was how much time and critiquing is put into the creation of a logo.  A logo isn't just put together in a matter of a hour and accepted.  A logo needs to be torn apart and put back together in order to be perfected.  Several people look at the logo and pick it apart, and give opinions to make it better.  In one of the videos it showed an object that looked similar to a bulls eye.  It originally had three rings, and the people who created it were told it would look better if it just added two more rings to have 5.  Such small details, as just adding a few extra rings can change the whole design and make it more marketable.  I thought the videos were very helpful in this assignment with understanding what logos are and the process that it takes to get to a final logo.
